Let’s cut to it:
Understanding how our brains work and where they trip us up is key to building a thriving, successful business. You need to combine it with solid business strategy and ongoing support. There are thousands of business coaches out there and they’re all promising to change your business. So how do you choose?
Enter, your biz brain’s new mentor: me!
I’ve been obsessed with what makes humans think and act the way we do for over 15 years. I’m just as likely to have my head stuck in a scientific journal as the new Neil Gaiman book, and just as likely to be watching TED talks as the latest medical drama. Which is to say, when it comes to your biz brain and how it works, you can rest assured that I'm not just throwing out half-baked ideas and seeing what sticks. I’ve gained a PhD and qualifications in Archaeology, Anthropology, Positive Psychology and Psychotherapy along the way. PLUS I also spent 5 years in big business, running marketing for some of the largest female-focused brands in the world and building 'businesses-within businesses' from scratch.
Every business coach isn’t right for all business owners. You should be picky about who you choose to work with and every client will need something different. If you’re looking for a place where you can get bespoke, intensive attention, evidence-based coaching and have some fun while you’re at it lat’s talk! If you’re looking for 'magic' funnels , manifesting millions, templates to follow or someone reading your chakras to help your biz, I wish you the very best, but I’m not the coach for you.
I believe the world would be a radically different place with more empowered, confident women running it.
I get quite emotional thinking about all the women out there who aren’t living up to their potential, because their inner sh*t-talker is running their life and their business (often without them realising!) and what would change if that wasn’t the case.
I get it. I’ve been there, got the t-shirt and then done it all again, because I didn’t know how to change. Figuring out how to take control of my brain changed my life. I had more confidence, wasn't afraid of failure, actually allowed myself to dream of big things, which brings me here; helping female entrepreneurs be bolder and more successful in themselves and their business. Me from 5 years ago wouldn’t recognize myself right now. And I hope the same is true in another 5 years, because constant growth is my jam!
So who the heck am I?
I'm a Brit but now live close to NYC. As a result, I'm perpetually stuck somewhere between my two countries, pronouncing and spelling words with wild abandon and never using the right one at the right time #sorrynotsorry.
Fun facts: I spend a disproportionate amount of money on fancy stationery (handy for all the research I do) and way too much time listening to podcasts while browsing real-estate porn on Zillow (the dream of buying an upstate retreat to take clients to is getting closer by the day!)
I love Punk music (original, none of this emo stuff, please!) and medical dramas. I sew, browse too many cabin make-overs on the internet and one day want to walk the Appalachian trail. Oh, and I’m a world-expert in really, really old Vole teeth (true fact: professional academic archaeology is nothing like Indiana Jones would have you believe).
When we work together, you will:
Develop the mental skills to be courageous in your business; the mental flexibility and emotional resilience to deal with the ever-changing, always challenging world of being an entrepreneur;
Get really clear about where your business is at and what’s holding you back
Increase your mental strength/grit so that the tough bits of running a business become not a big deal;
Develop advanced relationship-building skills so you can build your client base AND your support circle;
Stop imposter syndrome in it’s tracks so that you can be bolder, more visible and less stressed
You will leave with a plan for what comes next and how to implement it, as well as the tools to handle whatever the wild ride of entrepreneurship throws at you.
